RRM Field Trips are a unique Adventure!

Spend a few hours on our park-like grounds and in our inspiring museum. You and your group will learn about the history of our area through the advent of the very important trains that helped build Texas and carry our people, goods and culture throughout America.

  • Our highly-trained and enthusiastic docents will guide you through the museum grounds, collections and displays.
  • Educational options include special crafts or lesson modules tailored to your school-age group.
  • Spend some free time on the grounds watching trains roar by from our Observation Platform, and bring your picnic lunch to enjoy under the pavilion next to the "Quebec, a historic 1879 business rail car.
  • Two group times are available for group reservations on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
