April 21, 2008, Volunteer
Appreciation Breakfast, 9:00-10:30. April 20-26 is
National Volunteer Appreciation Week.
RRM relies heavily on volunteers to run the museum.
Volunteers are involved in every aspect of the museum, from
opening the door and greeting our guests to pruning the roses
and other landscaping. The
museum’s volunteer coordinator, Joan Reese does a wonderful job
with more than one hundred volunteers. The museum staff and
Board of Directors would like to show our appreciation for the
many hours the volunteers have devoted to the museum, by
preparing and serving breakfast to the group Monday morning at
9:00 in Education Station. Awards will be given out and the
Volunteer of the Year will be announced.
This
breakfast will be held in lieu of the usual second week of the
month gathering.
