The George Ranch Historical Park purchased the railcar in the 1980's, and it was parked in a Quonset hut until the Rosenberg Railroad Museum purchased it in July, 1993.  It was moved onto the property in the summer of 1995, and has been under periodic restoration since.  A cover is being constructed to minimize the effects of weather on the Quebec, and the interior restoration is now about 70% complete.
